2012 has been a long and eventful year here on veggie angie. The hubby and I have had so much fun with family, friends, and with our work. I thought I’d celebrate by sharing my favorite posts from the past year.
Anniversary Picnic
My first post of 2012 was our 8 year, 11 month Anniversary picnic
Birthday Party!
My sister Sarah’s Birthday introduced me to the best gluten-free chocolate muffins ever – recipe included!
Flaxseed French Toast
I’m not a big fan of breakfast, but I love this French Toast recipe for lunch and dinner.
Banana Bread Cake
If there was one recipe I used the most this year it was my Banana Bread recipe.
I’ve made it for everyone and it’s always received a thumbs up.
Dinner with Dylan
We don’t get to babysit my nephew that often, but we always have fun when we do.
Valentine’s Day Brunch in Bed
I loved celebrating our 9 year anniversary in bed with a delicious brunch.
Meow
This year Pat adopted us and became the third member of our feline family.
Easter Sunday
We celebrated Easter with both sides of the family, and I shared a new recipe – Blueberry Muffins.
Vegan Ice cream & More
The best vegan ice cream recipe ever!
My 26th Birthday
I had a wonderful 26th Birthday and made amazing Banh Mi sandwiches.
Journey through Manhattan
We took time to have some fun on a business trip to Manhattan.
Chocolate Mug Cakes
One of my most popular posts of 2012 featured a recipe from Happy Herbivore.
Happy Mother’s Day
I show some appreciation for the woman to brought me into this world.
Summer Grillin’
2012 was extra special because of much fun we had with our besties Remy and Marisa.
This was just one of the many hangouts we had throughout the year.
Dinner & Cinema Tuesdays
Watching one of our favorite films and making dinner with my hubby is my idea of the perfect date.
Surprise Birthday Party!
The best party thrown this year was a Surprise party for our friend Jenn.
I think we all cried with laughter at some point that night.
Houston Road Trip
The best trip this year was our trip to Houston with Remy and Marisa. We planned the hell out of the trip and had so much fun. We got to screen a collaborative short film, visit art museums, eat DELICIOUS vegan food, and watch 4th of July Fireworks. It really couldn’t have been a better trip.
Grillin’ & S’mores with The Frey Family
We love having dinner with our favorite family, The Freys.
I brought ingredients for one of my favorite desserts ever – S’mores.
South Padre Island Vacation
We took a lot of trips this year! Another favorite trip was to South Padre Island. We relaxed as much as possible in one of the most beautiful vacation spots I’ve ever been to (and I’ve been to Hawaii!). It was great to spend some quality time with my sister Sarah and her husband Travis.
Pumpkin Coconut Oreo Cream Pie
This is one of my favorite recipes I tried this year – so rich and tasty.
Being Thankful
Mark and I were in a car accident in November, and it gave us some perspective on life.
Christmas with The Frey Family
I loved visiting The Frey’s for Christmas, the boys were so excited about the gift we brought them.
Holiday Family Portrait
The Holidays are a good excuse to get new photos with my wonderful hubby!
Christmas Eve
This Christmas Eve was really wonderful. Mark and I stayed up late making dinner and opening presents. I just loved how thoughtful we tried to be with the gifts we picked and how much we enjoyed opening them.
I have so much to be thankful for and lots of wonderful memories to reflect on as 2012 comes to an end. Thank you to everyone who has read, commented, shared, and supported my blog this year.
Happy New Year’s Eve!
